The type of accounts you may be eligible for are described below. You do not need to select an account type when you register. It will be assigned based on your responses to the questions in the registration. Citizen, Indigenous Scout (business), and Tribal Nation Accounts that have been validated can refer other users. All validated non-Guest accounts can request Fan.C resources.
Citizen Account
An indigenous descendant who is among or connected to an indigenous community of people and wants to support Indian Country. New Citizens are invited or confirmed by existing Fan.C Citizens or administrators. A tribal citizenship card is not required but may be requested by Fan.C administrators if other confirmation is not available.
Citizens will see Tribal News, register for events, create a profile that is searchable by consumers, Scouts (businesses), and Tribal Nations across Indian Country. Your expertise, skills, and interests, whether Native focused or not, can be promoted.
Scout Account
A business or organization that supports and promotes indigenous Citizens and needs Fan.C to help identify them. Scouts can register without approval but may be rejected by Fan.C if intent is found to be malicious. Scout businesses do not have to be indigenous owned but falsely presenting a business as such is cause for deactivation of the account.
Scouts will be able to post company events, post links to jobs, search for Citizens that meet specific criteria, submit email and dashboard notifications or inquiries to Citizens or Citizen Groups, and support and promote the people of Indian Country.
Tribal Nation Account
An indigenous organization formed to organize, support, promote, and educate its citizens using knowledge of history, government, and commerce in an equitable and harmonious manner. Tribes are confirmed as needed and must be a registered business with an official list of Tribal Citizens/members. Fan.C Citizens who choose to affiliate with a Tribe are not confirmed by Fan.C, nor required to be confirmed as members of a specific Tribe within Fan.C protocols.
Tribes will be able to post meetings, events and messages, and receive event registration notifications and reports.
Guest Account
Consumers will ultimately be able to select a Fan.C Buy Native browser plug-in and search for authentic indigenous products or service providers. This will be enabled after our Citizen community has been fully updated.
Register for Account
